Bio

Oliver Blanco is the Assistant Director of Employer Relations at the Rockwell Career Center (RCC) in the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston (UH). He previously served on RCC's Graduate Career Counseling team (2013–2020) and Undergraduate Career Counseling team (2007–2013). Before joining RCC, Oliver worked in human resources at the Houston Independent School District. In his current role, Oliver partners with employers to develop strategic campus recruitment plans and connects hiring organizations with Bauer BBA, MBA, and MS talent. A proud UH alum and devoted dog dad, Oliver is deeply committed to community engagement. He volunteers with several nonprofit organizations, including the Houston Food Bank, H.E.A.R.T. Program, Houston Hispanic Forum, OUT for Education, Trees for Houston, TrashBash, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Houston L.U.L.A.C. National Educational Service Centers, Inc.
