Professor Vijay Yerramilli is the C. T. Bauer Professor of Finance and currently serves as Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs. In this role, he oversees faculty recruitment, retention, the promotion and tenure process, the annual review process, budget planning, and some aspects of accreditation. In a previous role, he served as the faculty director of Bauer’s MS in Finance program, where he spearheaded many initiatives to strengthen the curriculum, streamline the admissions review process and increase enrollments, and improve interface with the industry.

Professor Yerramilli’s research expertise spans the areas of financial intermediation, corporate finance, entrepreneurial finance, and mergers and acquisitions. His work has been published in leading academic journals including Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Rand Journal of Economics, Management Science, and Review of Corporate Finance Studies.

Professor Yerramilli teaches finance electives on valuation and mergers and acquisitions to MBA and MS Finance students, a seminar on corporate finance research to Ph.D. students, and executive education courses on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Bauer College, he served on the finance faculty of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where he taught undergraduate courses on corporate finance.

Professor Yerramilli earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Minnesota, MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, and B.Tech. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as a buy-side equity analyst at a large mutual fund in India.
