Bio

I serve as the Assistant Director of Outreach and Recruitment in the Office of Undergraduate Business Programs. I have been with the C. T. Bauer College of Business since 2017. During my undergraduate years, I have worked for the Office of Outreach & Community Engagement at Texas Tech University. There, I quickly realized my passion for working with K-12 students and the importance of higher education. After graduating from Texas Tech with a B.A. in History in 2015, I worked at North Shore Senior High School as a U.S. History teacher for two short years. After teaching for two years, I realized that I wanted to keep working with high school students but in the realm of higher education which brought me to the C. T. Bauer College of Business as a Program Coordinator for High School Recruitment. I later transitioned into the role of Assistant Director of Outreach and High School Recruitment in 2021. I am passionate about helping students figure out if business is the right major for them and if the University of Houston is the right college for them. I also enjoy assisting the C. T. Bauer College of Business create an environment that fosters and promotes student success!
