Bio

Bis is a Ph.D. student in Management Information Systems at the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. His research explores the intersection of technology adoption, artificial intelligence, and organizational decision-making.

Before beginning his doctoral studies, Bis served as Chief Strategy & Operating Officer at the Institute of Fetal Medicine, where he collaborated on AI-driven applications for OB/GYN ultrasound and co-authored research in maternal and fetal health. He also worked at Citizens Bank, where he led the design and deployment of AI-enabled corporate finance solutions, including a virtual CFO platform that leveraged predictive analytics for financial forecasting and strategic planning.

He holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business, with specializations in Quantitative Finance, Marketing, and Strategy, a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Genetics from Bangalore University, and a Diploma in Software Engineering from Sheridan College in Toronto. His interdisciplinary background continues to shape his research at the nexus of information systems, healthcare, and finance.
