Bio

Bethany Tolar is the Academic Advisor II for the Bauer Undergraduate Business Programs for Finance majors pursuing a specialty track. She is originally from San Antonio, TX but has adopted Houston as her permanent home with her husband. Prior to joining the University of Houston, Bethany has served in Higher Education in numerous capacities ranging from Campus Recreation, Student Development, and Student Activities. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication in 2014. In 2016, Bethany received her Master of Science in Sports Management from Texas A&M University. Bethany loves being a part of the Bauer team and working towards the common goal of student success. She is also loves to exercise, binge watch TV shows, hang out with her dog, and try new foods!
