Bio

Edward John Kroger completed his BS (biology) from Baylor University, his MD from the UT Southwestern Medical School, his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the UT Houston School of Medicine, his JD from the University of Texas School of Law, and his MBA from the Rice Jones Graduate School of Business. He worked in the health law section of an international law firm for seven years before making partner, then founded and was the managing partner of a specialized healthcare law firm for 21 years. He has taught at graduate law, medical and business schools. He recently began a Houston-based consulting firm offering strategic business advice to healthcare providers. Dr. Kroger now focuses his time on teaching, consulting, and writing. He has three young adult children, and spends his free time competing in triathlons, riding motorcycles, sailing, and playing chess and bridge.
