Bio

Cindy Tamez rejoined C.T. Bauer College of Business on June 2, 2025 as the Executive MBA Program Director. In her role, Cindy takes pride in supporting the Executive MBA students in their journey at the Bauer College of Business. She is a former Bauer alumni, graduating with her BBA in Marketing in 2003. After her undergrad, she worked at Bauer in different administrative roles for Decision and Information Sciences and Graduate and Professional Programs before deciding to pursue her Masters in education to make a difference in teaching. Cindy left Bauer to start her fourth grade teaching career in 2008. During her 16 years as a public school educator, Cindy has been twice recognized as Teacher of the Year for Cypress Fairbanks ISD as well as served on many different advisory boards and committees. Her passion towards serving students and being a part of their academic growth process leads her to her current role for the Executive MBA Program. As director, Cindy and her staff are committed to ensuring the students have a worldly and thorough experience of learning valuable leadership skills in our fast paced business industry.
