Living Learning Communities (LLCs) enhance student’s on-campus living experience by offering an additional level of support which focuses on student success. What is Bauer House?

The Bauer House First-Year Living Learning Community (LLC) is exclusive to first-year students in the C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. We offer a unique opportunity to live and learn with other business students providing academic support, professional development and social engagement.

The Bauer House First Year LLC provides a supportive and enriching environment for business students. We strive to help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their academic, social, and professional careers.

The Bauer House First-Year LLC will be housed in Cougar Village 1.

BUSI 1301

All Bauer House First-Year LLC students will be required to enroll in the same section of BUSI 1301 which is a required course for all Bauer students.

The purpose for enrolling in the same section of BUSI 1301 is to give the LLC a chance to build their relationships with their peers even further.

Students in the LLC will receive a notice before their enrollment period begins for their first Fall semester. This notice will include the class number needed to enroll in the correct section of the course.

How to Apply

  • Through AccessUH visit the myHousing Portal to complete your Housing Agreement.
  • After you submitted your Housing Agreement you will be able to apply for an LLC.
