Supply Chain Management Concentrations

Supply Chain Management Majors tailor their academic experience and build specialized expertise in high-impact areas of supply chain by pursuing one or more concentrations within the Supply Chain Management major. These concentrations are designed to reflect the evolving demands of the profession and prepare students for leadership in a dynamic, global marketplace.

Students who complete 6 credit hours (two courses) from a designated concentration area with an average grade of B or higher will earn a formal concentration certificate in that area:

Certificate Directed Electives
Energy Supply Management Energy Supply Chain Project Management
Strategic Sourcing Strategic Sourcing & Spend Analysis Enterprise Resource Planning
Analytics Enterprise Resource Planning Supply Chain Analytics

These concentrations enable students to deepen their knowledge in areas that are increasingly critical to supply chain success — such as data-driven decision-making, strategic procurement, and the energy industry. Each pathway is designed to enhance students’ readiness for internships, full-time roles, and long-term career growth. Pursuing a concentration is highly recommended for students seeking to differentiate themselves in the job market.
