TBLCP focuses on developing self, developing relationships, and developing others. This development is supported throughout the weekly workshops students attend each semester, which focus on various topics such as public speaking, ethics, team dynamics, and more.
Do I need previous leadership experience to participate?
Everyone can be a leader! Leadership development is a continuous process, and we encourage both those with and without leadership experience to apply.
Is there a minimum GPA requirement?
The minimum GPA for participating in TBLCP is a 2.5. Students must also be in good standing with Bauer in order to participate.
Do I receive any academic credit for participating in TBLCP?
No, TBLCP is a 100% co-curricular program. Although you do receive an official certificate and you can include it on your resume, you do not receive any academic credit for this program.
Does it cost money to participate in TBLCP?
No, it is 100% free to participate in the program. The only expense we do not account for is transportation to our service events. You are responsible for your own transpiration to these events.
Why should I hire a TBLCP graduate?
Graduates from the leadership program are more self-aware of their strengths and how to utilize those within a dynamic business environment. Graduates have completed workshops in the areas of public speaking, effective presentations, conflict resolution, leading teams, exemplary leadership and more. In addition, graduates have put their skills to work while volunteering and have been challenged to think critically to analyze a case study.

We welcome guest speakers and business professionals who can provide insight into leadership in real world businesses as well as expertise in any leadership related topics.
