Lori Whisenant

Bio

Lori Whisenant is a Lecturer in Business Law & Ethics at the University of Houston's Bauer College of Business. She previously served at UH from 2003–2011 as Director of Business Law and Ethics Studies and is delighted to return to teach the same course. Professor Whisenant recently retired from the University of Kansas School of Business and brings decades of experience in legal, tax, accounting, and ethics education as well as professional practice. She holds a JD from the University of Oklahoma, an LLM from Georgetown University, and is a retired CPA in Oklahoma.

On a personal note, she is married to a retired accounting professor (also a former UH and KU faculty member) and together they have two sons. In Lori's spare time she loves creating art, traveling, and being in nature.
