Kimberly Fernandez has more than 20 years of experience in higher education operations, advancement, and administration, including over 15 years at the University of Houston's C. T. Bauer College of Business. As Program Director in Bauer Advancement & Alumni, she provides strategic leadership for advancement operations, financial management, donor stewardship, and organizational initiatives that support the college's fundraising and alumni engagement goals.
Kimberly oversees the Development Office's operating budgets, financial reporting, gift processing, donor stewardship tracking, and operational reporting while ensuring compliance with university policies and donor intent. She partners with departments across the college to align priorities, strengthen relationships, and develop efficient processes that support the college's mission and fundraising objectives. Her leadership also includes planning and executing high-impact events, supporting executive leadership and volunteer engagement, and creating reporting and operational tools that inform strategic decision-making. Recognized for her commitment to innovation and service, Kimberly is a two-time TED Award recipient and the creator of the STAR Reward Program. She is an active member of the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP) and is passionate about building collaborative partnerships, improving operational effectiveness, and creating exceptional experiences for donors, alumni, and campus partners.Contact Info
