Jon Nordby

Bio

For over a decade, Jon has been an active mentor and advisor to over 500 startups around the world with a focus on Human Potential, Space Commercialization and Autonomy. Jon is a General Partner at Anthropy Partners, an early-stage venture fund capitalizing Human Potential applications around the world. He is also the founder of EconWerx, a consultancy that works with governments, universities, economic development orgs and corporations to build unique and differentiated innovation ecosystems.

Previously, Jon led business model validation, value creation and strategy for MassChallenge, a global non-profit startup accelerator. Jon has a lengthy background in coaching founders on problem / solution fit, value creation, market strategy, talent management and business model validation. Jon has held leadership, advisory and mentor roles at startup development organizations around the world where he focused on building infrastructure for startup development, community building and growing innovation economies. He has launched and led multiple startups and efforts to support startup communities including not for profits, a corporate fund of funds and accelerator programs.

Jon brings these lived experiences from his current and previous roles to the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship where he teaches on themes that range from problem / solution fit to product / market fit, including lean startup, business model validation, decision making behavior and revenue generation.
