Bio
Hiten Mehta joined the Bauer College of Business, Department of Finance in Fall of 2022; he teaches "Cases in Finance" and "Upstream Project Economics" at Bauer. He has a Juris Doctor degree and is a Member of the California Bar Association, an MBA from University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Plant Engineering from University of Bombay.
Hiten has over 30 years of experience in oil and gas. He currently works in Woodside Energy in a Business Development role. Prior to that he held a number of senior Executive and Finance roles in BP plc, including assignments in Cairo, Port of Spain (Trinidad), London, Anchorage, Chicago , Luanda and Mumbai. Some of his more recent assignments were CFO of Azule Energy based in Luanda , Project manager in BP's Mergers and Acquisitions group and CEO of India Gas Solutions, a 50-50 BP RIL JV for gas and LNG marketing based in Mumbai.
