Bio

Bonnie Buffaloe is a media professional with nearly two decades of expertise in communications, marketing, copy editing, and technology. She has held various roles in academia, corporate, and publishing, including Communications Manager at the University of Houston Law Center.

As a member of the UHLC Marketing and Communications team, she helped promote the grand opening of the John M. O'Quinn Law Building — a nearly $93 million, 180,000-square-foot facility on the University of Houston campus. This effort resulted in coverage across local, regional, and national media, and earned the cover spot in the 2024 Winter Issue of preLaw Magazine. Additionally, the UHLC was recognized as a finalist in the 2023 American Marketing Association's Houston Crystal Awards for the Micro Marketing Campaign of its 75th-anniversary celebration.

Her experience also includes conducting social media audits, advertising campaigns, and overseeing media engagement at two global law firms, Baker McKenzie and Norton Rose Fulbright. Notably, she was part of the team that achieved the Good2BSocial 2018 Top Twitter and 2020 Top BigLaw on Social Media law firm rankings.
