Department of Accountancy & Taxation
Our BBA Accounting, CAP, and MSACCY students gain real-life exposure, hands-on experience, and can potentially win prizes by participating in annual accounting case competitions. During these competitions teams work together to solve a business problem and present their findings to professionals from the host company.
Our department is typically involved in 4-5 case competitions each semester. Please see below for a few case competitions hosted by our corporate partners.
- PwC Challenge
- Deloitte’s FanTAXtic Case Competitions
- KPMG's International Case Competition
- Grant Thornton's ACG Case Cup
- Deloitte’s Cyber Case Competition
The majority of our students who have won a case competition, locally or nationally, have received internship offers. If you are looking for a way to differentiate yourself from your peers, case competitions are a great way to get started.
All case competitions take place at the C. T. Bauer College of Business unless otherwise noted. For more information, including specific eligibility requirements for each competition, please email Dr. Michael Newman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
