Advising
The Professional Accounting Advising Office provides advising services to CAP students and prospective students. CAP advising is split into three separate functions. For prospective students that haven’t applied yet (recruitment), for prospective students that have applied (applicants), and academic advising for those that have been admitted.

Advising Appointments
Advising appointments are available online (Microsoft Teams or Zoom) or in-person. Additionally, late virtual advising appointments are offered on Thursdays during the 5 p.m. hour. Please note, all advising appointments must be scheduled in advance.
CAP Recruitment: If you would like to meet with an advisor prior to applying, please visit our MSACCY & CAP bookings page.
CAP Applicants: If you've applied, but haven't been admitted yet, please email applycap@uh.edu to schedule an appointment.
Current CAP students: CAP students can use Navigate to schedule an advising appointment with an academic advisor.

How to Schedule Your Appointment via Navigate
- Log in to AccessUH to access EAB Navigate.
- Click on "Appointments"
- Select "Academic Advising" under "Pick the type of appointment you would like".
- Choose your program from the list.
- Pick a date and time for your appointment.
- Add a brief description (1-3 sentences) explaining why you are requesting a meeting.
- Submit your appointment request.
- After scheduling your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email. A calendar invitation with the appointment link will also be sent to you.
