Bauer Involvement Fair

Jan. 23-26 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. | AIM Ticker Area and Back Drum

More than two dozen undergraduate and graduate student organizations at Bauer will connect with prospective new members during the college’s biannual Bauer Involvement Fair.

The event allows student organizations to meet with students who are interested in getting involved. Representatives from each undergraduate organization will be available to provide what their organization has to offer and to answer questions.

Bauer Abroad Fair

Feb. 16 (Time & Location TBD)

Bauer students will have the opportunity to learn about the multiple faculty-led learning abroad programs. Learn how you can spend a summer, semester or even a year studying in another country while receiving academic credit toward your degree plan.

Bauer Career Fair

Feb. 17 | Noon – 4 p.m. | UH Hilton

Meet with 100s of employers during the biannual Bauer Career Fair, hosted by the Rockwell Career Center. This event, opened to Bauer students only, provides the opportunity to meet with employers from various industries looking to fill internships, part-time and full-time positions.

What to expect at the Bauer Career Fair:

Bauer Gala

Feb. 24 | 6 p.m. | The Post Oak Hotel

Join the Bauer College for the second annual Bauer Gala. The event, themed “Into the Night,” will gather leaders of the Houston business community and Bauer College for a night to celebrate business excellence.

Guests will also be entertained by two Bauer students, vocalist and NBC’s The Voice semi-finalist Sarah Grace and Michael Ryan, a ballet dancer who has been a member of two of the leading ballet companies in the United States: the Houston Ballet and Boston Ballet.

Ted Bauer Day

March 2 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.| AIM Ticker Area

Formerly known as “Bauer Pride Day,” Ted Bauer Day celebrates the College’s benefactor, Charles T. “Ted” Bauer and his impact on the college since his transformational gift in 2001.

Attendees also have the opportunity to learn more about the college’s wide range of student initiatives during the event.

How to celebrate Ted Bauer Day:

Wolffest

March 28-30 | Time: TBD | Butler Plaza

A tradition since 2002, teams of students from the Cyvia and Melvyn Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship raise money for scholarships and student activities by running pop-up food stands in a three-day competition.

Part of the Wolff Center’s capstone course, it is the largest and most complex project that students do in the program, and currently raises more than $250,000 per year in food sales and donations.
