This workshop will explore differences in country cultures around the world and their implications for management. Topics will include an overview of methods of classifying country cultures, cross-national differences in management styles related to culture, and cross-cultural adaptation.

Cultural models	Hofstede’s cultural dimensions including specific country examples and their scores across those dimensions Trompenaar’s cultural dimensions including main characteristics of each dimension and advice for doing business with each dimension	90 minutes
Cross-cultural business communication	Language and culture Negotiating across cultures	90 minutes
Cultural differences	Discussion of regional and country differences	75 minutes
