  2. Develop your skills for identifying organizational leverage points from theories and strategies for exploiting them.
  3. Increase your understanding of management theory and research.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Have you ever lay awake at night and thought about a “people problem” in your organization or life? If so, this workshop is for you. Sense making involves looking beneath the surface of organizational events to identify and influence organizational processes. A major goal of the class is to build your mental “database” with useful concepts from the field of management, along with improving your problem solving skills. We will analyze real, “live” problems in organizations and applying management concepts to those problems. The problems will be contributed by attendees.
