Supply Chain Management

“I am a first-generation student graduating with a degree in supply chain management. Throughout my college career I held various leadership roles in Bauer SPO, where we took on many of the challenges brought by the pandemic. After graduation I will be moving to Austin to start my career at a major tech company. Apart from academics I enjoy trying new foods, camping, and spending time with my family.”

Accounting

“I will be graduating this semester with a BBA in Accounting. As a first-generation student, I'm honored to represent my family in being one of the handful of students to achieve a 4.0 throughout college. In my time here at Bauer, I had the opportunity to meet plenty of wonderful people in my classes and organizations such as Emerging Leaders Academic Success Program (ELASP), Bauer Women Society (BWS) and Beta Alpha Psi (BAP). I'd also like to recognize my family and friends who have contributed to my success today. Following graduation, I plan on continuing my education in the MS in Accountancy program at Bauer, and I hope to get my CPA license sometime after.”

Accounting

“I am a member of the Honors College completing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. During my time at UH, I completed two internships in Houston, participated in the Smithsonian Internship Program in D.C. through the Honors College, and completed a study abroad to Spain. I have enjoyed helping orient new students to the university through my involvement in Honors Ambassadors and the Honors Mentorship Program, in which I worked as a Mentor Executive in addition to serving as a mentor for two years. I have also served as Vice President of the Omicron Delta Kappa Circle at UH and Internal Auditor for Beta Alpha Psi. After graduation, I will attend the University of Southern California to pursue a Master of Accounting, emphasis on Data and Analytics, as part of KPMG’s MADA program.”

Management Information Systems

“I am graduating with a BBA in Management Information Systems from the Bauer College. While at Bauer, my classes and resources available allowed me to apply my knowledge to many different kinds of industry problems. This made me really appreciate the importance of healthcare, especially through the global situation that’s been affecting us for the past year and being in Houston, one of the nation’s leading cities in health care. For this reason, my plans after graduation include attending graduate school to pursue a master's degree in healthcare administration. Eventually, I want to be able to make an impact in the health care industry and help as many people as possible. Overall, the goal is to always keep learning. I’m very proud to become a UH alumni, and I’m looking forward to what the future will bring.”
