Curriculum
The MS degree in Business Analytics requires 36 semester credit hours, comprised of the courses listed in the tables below.

Core Courses & Electives. Core courses will cover the foundation topics that emphasize data management and analytical skills. Elective courses will enable students to develop specialized skills in focused business areas such as Energy, Entepreneurship, Marketing, Finance, Real Estate, Healthcare, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, and Supply Chain Management.
Capstone Practicum. This two-course sequence will give students hands-on experience by making them work on a business-defined problem that focuses on data management and/or analytics. The learning goal is for them to develop data management and analytic strategies, manage analytics team, and lead analytics projects.

Graduate Education in Data Management
Students will gain an in-depth knowledge of analyzing large data sets and uncovering business insights. Expert skills in Big Data Management will be obtained giving students the ability to organize, process, and maintain information in multiple industries.
Data Management Course Work
In this comprehensive program, students will gain a deep knowledge of managing data and the ability to pull and organize information from different sources. The goal of this program is to expose students to a variety of infrastructures and data sources.

Graduate Education in Data Analytics
Students will learn to extract and categorize data. A knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze data to make insightful business decisions will allow students to further their career path in multiple fields.
