Q. I was not accepted into business after completing high school, can I become a business student?
A. Yes, you can become a business student. C. T. Bauer College of Business has a Pathway program that allows first time freshman to change their major to business after the fall semester. For more information, please see the Business Pathways flyer.
Q. If I am a current UH student, can I change my major to business?
A. For current UH students, if you have more than 45 credit hours (from UH and previous college credits combined) you are not able to change your major to business. For more information, please see our requirements.
There is also an option to become a business minor. For more information, please see the minors offered by the C. T. Bauer College of Business.

Q. Can I transfer (from another institution) into C. T. Bauer College of Business?
A. In order to transfer into business, you must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA in your last 60 hours, have completed a college level math course and received a C or higher in your math course. Q. Where can I apply to change my major?
A. The change of major form is located online.
Q. Will I be notified if my major has changed?
A. Yes, you will be notified via email. You will receive an email within 10 business days.
Q. Do I have to be a business student to join a Bauer student organization?
A. No, many of Bauer’s student organizations are open to non-business students. For more information, please see the Bauer Student Organization page.
Q. Can I major in global business?
A. We do not offer a major in global business, but you can get a global outlook through our various programs. In addition, students are required to take INTB 3355 Global Environment of Business to complete each of the business majors, and each major offers courses with an international focus. Students are also encouraged to participate in a learning abroad program and/or complete a Global Citizens Credential (GCC).

Q. Can I pursue a Master’s degree in business?
A. Yes, you can pursue a Master’s degree in business. An undergraduate degree in business is not required. For more information, please contact the Graduate Studies office.
