PPA Student Check List

The following is a recommended checklist for Bauer PPA students during their tenure in the PPA program.

Sophomore Year

• Attend a Bauer Professional Program in Accounting Information Session.
• File a Degree Plan for Accounting at File a Degree Plan.
• Apply to the Bauer PPA at PPA Admission.

Junior Year

• Attend a Bauer PPA Orientation

Prepare for Recruiting

• Register for and attend your first Bauer PPA Colloquium (section number list in admission letter) as well as an additional colloquium as time permits.
• Continue or obtain membership in a Bauer Accounting Student Organization.
• Attend Career Services Workshops, ER Career Services Center.
• Utilize all available Career Resources.

Apply for Internships

• Submit your resume for Internships online at Job Search Resources.
• Attend all Bauer Career Fairs to meet industry and firm employers.
• Attend the spring PPA Mixer.
• Follow through with employers by attending interviews, office visits and writing thanks you email or letters.

Senior Year

• Attend an additional colloquium if the requirement is not fulfilled at the end of your junior year, see Colloquium Requirement.
• Register for and complete PPA Internship Course

Admission to Graduate Year of PPA

• Prepare for the GMAT!, MBA.com
• Complete two double count graduate course, Degree Plan
• Apply to M.S. Accountancy, MS Accy Checklist
• File Graduation Paperwork for B.B.A. in Accounting

Graduate Year

• Choose Academic Track.
• Submit resume and interview for full time positions, Job Search Resources.
• File Graduation Paperwork for Master of Science in Accountancy.
• Attend the spring PPA Graduation Dinner
