Former UH Student Application Deadlines

Details

"Former" students are considered students who have taken undergraduate courses at UH.

Semester Domestic & International Students
Spring November 1
Summer May 1
Fall June 1

If you are currently attending or have attended the University of Houston in the past 13 months, then you will apply by general petition and NOT through ApplyTexas.

ApplyTexas Former UH Domestic Student Instructions

  1. Apply via www.ApplyTexas.org
  2. 4 year schools – UH Central Campus
  3. Undergraduate Readmission/Former Student
  4. First choice school: BAUER COLLEGE OF BUSINESS
  5. First choice major: Accountancy – CAP Program (PB only)
  6. Pay $50 application fee online & submit application

Please note, it is important that you answer all questions on the application.

Once you have submitted your application, please e-mail cap@uh.edu to let us know your application ID.

Next, please arrange to have an official transcript from all institutions previously attended sent to the University of Houston. Former UH-Central students are not required to submit UH-Central transcripts or any transcripts previously submitted to UH-Central. Transcripts can be sent electronically to UH-Central Campus or mailed to the following address:

Please understand that we cannot refund application fees. Therefore, take special care when choosing a program & entering semester.

ApplyTexas Former UH International Student Instructions

  1. Go to www.ApplyTexas.org
  2. You will be applying to a 4 year school – University of Houston – Main Campus
  3. Apply as an International Undergraduate Transfer Student-PB ACCY Cert 1
  4. Pay $75 application fee online & submit application
  5. Submit official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score report if applicable – scores must be no older than 2 years.

Please note, it is important that you answer all questions on the application.

If you need an I-20 please visit the University of Houston’s Office of Admissions website for a list of documents required for I-20 assurance. The website can be located via the following link: http://www.uh.edu/admissions/

Once you have submitted your application, please e-mail cap@uh.edu to let us know your application ID.
