
Originally from Las Vegas, Sarah moved to Texas in 1998 to attend college and now considers herself a true Texan. After graduating from UT Austin with a B.S. in Communications: Radio-TV-Film, Sarah worked in the Marketing field for both a real estate company and an educational test preparation corporation. In 2005, her love of students brought her to UH where she accepted the position of Marketing and Entrepreneurship academic advisor. Sarah held the position of Marketing and Entrepreneurship advisor from 2005 to 2010, during which time she earned her Masters of Education in Educational Psychology. In Fall 2010, Sarah accepted the position of Assistant Director for the Bauer Honors Program. In this role, Sarah directs all advising and program management for the Bauer Honors Program. This includes advising and programming for current students, new student recruitment, media and event planning, faculty support, and alumni outreach. Sarah is a member of TEXAAN (Texas Academic Advising Association), NACADA (National Academic Advising Association) and NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) and has presented on academic advising related topics at several regional and national conferences. Her research interests include student persistence and motivation, learning theory, and self-regulated learning.

Colleen received her BA in Government and her BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002. She worked for 5 years in the retail industry as a Senior Assistant Buyer at both Foley’s and JCPenney. In 2007, she moved to Washington, D.C. and served the Second Congressional District of Texas in the Office of Congressman Ted Poe. In 2008, her passion for working with students led her to the role of Undergraduate Program Coordinator for the Archer Center, where she brought University of Texas System students to Washington, D.C. for full time academic and professional experiences. After 4 years in Washington, D.C., it was time to come home to Texas, and Colleen and her family moved to Houston, where she accepted the position with the Bauer Honors Program. In this role, she is charged with undergraduate business honors advising, new student recruitment, event planning, alumni outreach and faculty support.

Pete Watson graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 2008. Pete was recently accepted to the PPA program for Accounting and is planning on receiving degrees in both Accounting and Psychology. Pete is active in numerous organizations on campus; he is an officer for the Finance Association and is also involved in Honors Ambassadors and Invisible Children. When not busy with his schoolwork, Pete can be found playing soccer, hanging out with friends, or cheering on the Coogs at football games. Go Coogs!
Catarina was part of the first graduating class of Glenda Dawson in 2010 and is now in her sophomore year at UH. Catarina is a part of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, and a volunteer at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She is planning on receiving a degree in management and to continue on to law school after graduating. A ShowMakers All Star, and former champion soloist for Dance Expressions, she enjoys dancing in her free time.
Jason graduated from Bellaire High School in 2010. As a sophomore at UH, Jason remains active in numerous organizations including the Accounting Society and the National Society for Collegiate Scholars. Jason is pursuing a dual major in Accounting and MIS and also plans to pursue the PPA program. When not busy with his schoolwork, Jason can be found hanging out with friends, walking the streets of Sugarland, and going to the movies.
