How We Rank
Marketing: The Chronicle of Higher Education recently ranked Bauer #9 among leading research universities for faculty scholarly productivity in marketing, and Bauer doctoral students have won the Howard Award for the best dissertation in the field of marketing twice in the past decade.
Selling: Bauer is #1 for Selling. Bauer's Program for Excellence in Selling has the deepest curriculum, largest enrollment and highest corporate support of any university program in selling and sales management, and our Sales Excellence Institute is a hub for sales research and education.
Entrepreneurship: Entrepreneur magazine and The Princeton Review rank Bauer's undergraduate Entrepreneurship program among the top three in the nation since 2007, and Bauer students have won more awards than any other school in national undergraduate business plan competitions in recent years.

Congratulations to Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship business plan team Scott Black, Kevin Cruz, Roger Seward and Genevieve Simmons on winning 1st place at the California Dreamin' Super Competition and 3rd place at the 26th Annual University of Nebraska Innovation Competition. This gives WCE 21 podium finishes in national business plan competitions in the past 12 years.
Congratulations to Prof. Michael Ahearne on winning the 2013 American Marketing Association Sales SIG Excellence in Research Award.
Congratulations to doctoral student Zach Hall on winning the 2012-13 University of Houston Teaching Excellence Award for graduate teaching assistants.
Congratulations to Prof. Seshadri Tirunillai on winning the American Marketing Association (AMA) John Howard Award for best doctoral dissertation in the field of marketing.
