A CFP® Board Registered Program

Finance majors who complete the Personal Financial Planning Track will have met the CFP Board of Standards Education Requirement for CFP Certification. For more information about becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), please refer to www.CFP.net.

According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, “Personal financial advisors are projected to grow by 30 percent over the 2008–18 period, which is much faster than the average for all occupations. Growing numbers of advisors will be needed to assist the millions of workers expected to retire in the next 10 years.”
