Jay Comeaux serves as Executive Director of Stanford Group Company and is a board member of Stanford Trust Company. Stanford Group Company is a full-service financial planning and investment management firm serving private investors, corporations, governments and institutions worldwide. Headquartered in Houston, the company currently has branch offices in Atlanta, Austin, Baton Rouge, Boca Raton, Boston, Denver, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Longboat Key, Miami, Memphis, New York, San Diego, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. with plans for additional offices.
Mr. Comeaux joined Stanford Group Company with 19 years of experience in portfolio management, as well as financial and estate planning, public relations and management. He spent 10 years in the oil and gas industry and then later moved to the financial services industry with Merrill Lynch where he was Vice President prior to joining Stanford.
Mr. Comeaux was born in Oklahoma City and raised in Beaumont, Texas, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After graduating from Louisiana State University in 1970 with a degree in marketing, he joined the Air Force, where he was commissioned as an officer and became a fighter instructor pilot.
Jay currently volunteers time and resources to many charities and service groups, is a member of the Galveston/Houston Diocesan Development Board, and is an active member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Houston. He is a member of The Houston Polo Club and an avid polo player. |
