Students from the A.R. “Tony” and Maria J. Sanchez Program for Excellence in Selling within the C. T. Bauer College of Business recently brought home top honors in the State Farm Marketing and Sales Competition held at University of Central Missouri.

The college’s first all-female team, comprised of marketing and management senior Dana Fattouh and marketing senior Toni Gilmore, competed against individuals and teams from colleges including University of Central Missouri, Arizona State University, University of Georgia and other leading U.S. business schools.

The Bauer student team earned second place out of 11 competing universities, with Fattouh taking home first place and Gilmore taking third in the Auto Role Play portion of the competition.

The competition gives students the opportunity to pitch their marketing ideas and to showcase their sales skills by creating a team comprehensive marketing strategy for the next generation of State Farm Offices.
