WCE values its relationships with the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
During intersession weeks at KIPP Academy Houston, an award winning school for underserved high school students, our students mentor and conduct classes on entrepreneurship. Over the course of four days, the students hear directly from WCE students and staff about topics such as personal success, business planning and idea implementation. At the conclusion of this four-day intensive, KIPP students create and present business plans.
YES Prep Public Schools exist to increase the number of low-income Houstonians who graduate from a four-year college. WCE interaction with students at YES provides both groups with insight into building relationships and businesses that benefit the community.
