BUSINESS STUDENTS

1. Pre-business students can add the minor at the time of
ling a degree plan. Declared business majors can re-le a
degree plan online OR visit with their major advisor to add
the minor.

2. You cannot double count MARK 3337 for the minor and
for your speech requirement. MARK 4397 “Sales Career
Skills” can be used in place of MARK 3337 for the minor so
that you can use MARK 3337 for your speech requirement.
3. Marketing majors: You can do a sales minor too, but you
cannot double or triple count courses towards your major
and your minor. You must take MARK 3337, a course to
fulll your speech requirement hours (see advisor for
options), and you must have an additional marketing
course to complete the minor since you cannot double
count MARK 3337 for your major and minor. That additional
MARK course can be MARK 4397 “Sales Career
Skills,”which you are required to take.

NON-BUSINESS STUDENTS

TO REQUEST A MINOR

- Apply at www.bauer.uh.edu/undergraduate/business-minor

- Meet the 3.0-GPA requirement to be approved
(based on your last 60 credit hours)

IMPORTANT NOTE
MARK 3336 is required for the minor, even if not
required for PES; once you ocially declare the
minor, you will be able to register for the class.
