PAVLOU ABOUT THE 2020-2025 BAUER COLLEGE STRATEGIC PLAN FOR BAUER COLLEGE AND CONNECTING WITH THE BAUER ALUMNI NETWORK.


 

 

Job-Ready Students

BAUER COLLEGE STUDENTS IMPRESSED RECRUITERS FROM HUNDREDS OF LEADING COMPANIES, LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES FOR INTERNSHIPS AND FULL-TIME POSITIONS, DURING THE FALL BUSINESS CAREER FAIR. ORGANIZED TWICE A YEAR BY THE COLLEGE’S ROCKWELL CAREER CENTER, THE EVENT IS PRECEDED BY CAREER MIXERS AND RÉSUMÉ PREP WORKSHOPS.

BAUER COLLEGE CELEBRATED MORE THAN 800 STUDENTS GRADUATING FROM BBA, MBA AND MS PROGRAMS IN THE FALL DURING A COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY, FEATURING KEYNOTE SPEAKER ALI DHANANI (BBA ’90), PRESIDENT AND CEO OF HAZA GROUP. THE UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON ALSO PRESENTED A PRESIDENT’S MEDALLION TO BAUER ALUMNUS AND HUMANA PRESIDENT AND CEO BRUCE BROUSSARD (MBA ’89) AT THE CEREMONY.

INCOMING BAUER MBA STUDENTS KICKED OFF THE NEW SEMESTER WITH A DAY OF NETWORKING EVENTS, STARTING AT CIPHER, A NEARBY ESCAPE ROOM, AND STOPPED TO TAKE IN STREET ART IN THE CITY.


 

 

Getting Involved

BAUER STUDENTS LEARNED ABOUT GETTING INVOLVED IN COLLEGE-WIDE ORGANIZATIONS DURING THE BIANNUAL RUSH WEEK EVENT, WHICH FEATURED EXHIBITS FROM THE COLLEGE’S MORE THAN TWO DOZEN STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS.

BAUER COLLEGE AND UH LEADERSHIP, STUDENTS, FACULTY, STAFF AND ALUMNI CELEBRATED THE PRINCETON REVIEW AND ENTREPRENEUR RANKING THE CYVIA AND MELVYN WOLFF CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP NO. 1 ON THE 2020 LIST OF TOP 50 UNDERGRADUATE SCHOOLS FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP STUDIES.
