Recognitions and Awards The Musa and Khaleda Dakri Center for Economic Inclusion and its flagship SURE Program are the recipients of the Community Leadership Award from the Houston Business Journal. The award "celebrates leaders and organizations making a measurable, meaningful impact across the Greater Houston community." Associate Professor Johannes Habel was appointed Associate Editor at the Journal of Service Research. Associate Professor Zack Liu won the Journal of Corporate Finance best paper award for 2025 for this paper "Economic Magnitudes within Reason”, co-authored with Adam Winegar.
