A recent ranking maintained by the W.P. Carey School of Business shows that in 2024, the Bauer College Department of Finance ranked No. 19 on an international scale. This ranking reflects the quality and caliber of Bauer faculty research that is at the same level as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Washington University in St. Louis, Yale University and other top-rated elite institutes both globally and nationally.

The C. T. Bauer College of Business and the University of Houston’s Institute for Global Engagement (IGE) recently welcomed colleagues from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) University Leadership Council (ULC), Abu Dhabi University and the UAE Ministry of Education to establish a collaboration, discuss future endeavors and learn more about the interdisciplinary research of the college’s Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Institute.
