Student Life

Typical isn't a good word to describe accounting students at the University of Houston. Our students have a drive to succeed and often balance work and school. Not only that, but they’re here to learn in and outside of the classroom. By actively participating in student organizations and case competitions, students can learn from top professionals in the field, giving them the experience needed to be successful in the business world.

Our department also hosts networking events for MSACCY and CAP students as an opportunity to mingle with program alumni, incoming new students, and faculty. These events are typically held off-campus at venues such as athletic stadiums, music venues, etc. Additionally, new MSACCY students can participate in our mentor program designed to help them adjust to their first semester of graduate school.
