Melissa Niles


Melissa Luna Niles is the College Business Administrator at the C. T. Bauer College of Business. In her current role, she leads all human resources and building administration issues for the college and oversees teams of professionals who are responsible for customer service and human resources.

Melissa joined the UH Bauer College staff in April 2007. She earned a BA in English with a minor in psychology from the University of Houston. While working at Bauer College, Melissa also completed the master's program in futures studies in commerce in the College of Technology, where she interned with the Millennium Project to identify key global trends and their potential impacts on the state of the future.

She brings over 18 years of experience in customer service, human resources, and financials to the Bauer team and has worked as a team leader in the retail and restaurant industries before making her way to Bauer.
