This form is for PPA students requesting enrollment in double-count courses.

Students requesting enrollment in the internship course should not use this web form. Please submit your enrollment request for the internship course by going to https://www.bauer.uh.edu/acctintern.

PPA students requesting enrollment in the graduate-level double-count courses:
  • Must apply to the MSACCY program by November 1st.
  • By the start of the spring semester:
    • Must have an accounting and UH GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Must be in good standing with PPA.
    • Must be admitted to the MSACCY program for summer (only applies to spring graduates) or fall (spring or summer graduates).

I acknowledge and understand the requirements to register for the double-count courses and certify that I meet these requirements. I understand that failure to meet the above requirements may result in being dropped from the above courses.

I affirm that it is my intent to enter the Master of Science in Accountancy Program immediately following completion of my BBA degree. I affirm that I will apply/have applied to the MSACCY program for the semester immediately following completion of my undergraduate coursework (Spring graduates may enter the MSACCY Program in the subsequent Summer or Fall semester).

Submission of this form serves as acknowledgement of the requirements listed above for placement into double-count or mini-mester courses and releases the Accountancy & Taxation Academic Advising team from accountability if the student fails to do the following:
  1. Add, drop, or change classes that might affect his/her enrollment status within the Professional Program in Accountancy.
  2. Meet the tuition payment deadline and/or accept responsibility for payment of late fees or penalties.
  3. Inform the academic advisor of changes that might occur after the initial meeting, either face-to-face or teleconference. These changes may include but are not limited to the following:
    1. Graduation filed with another department's academic advisor due to double major
    2. Dramatic change in GPA
    3. Failure to meet course pre-requisites
    4. Any other circumstance that will prevent the student from completing his/her anticipated degree requirements.
  4. Meet the prerequisites and requirements for the requested course.
