Your exam will take place over Blackboard using Lockdown Browser & Monitor during your class time with a start window during the first 15 minutes of your class. This means you must start your exam within the availability window, otherwise, you have missed your exam. Major life events and conflicts must be reported asap to me for remediation.
In order to take the exam, you must install and use Lockdown Browser and Monitor, an application available for UH students. Go to the URL:

Complete the Computer Equipment Test Exam under the Exams folder in Blackboard as soon as possible to make sure you have the needed equipment, otherwise, you will not be able to take the exam.

If you run into issues with the installation, you must contact UH IT for help.
If you do not have a computer with a functional web camera, you must secure one before then. No Chromebooks. UH has loaner laptops:

DURING the exam, you must sit in a well-lit place with your upper body in view of the camera. You MUST NOT communicate with anyone during the exam. Suspicious behavior will be flagged and reviewed with academic honesty referrals made following the exam.
If you run into issues DURING the exam, you MUST report them immediately to online@cougarnet.uh.edu and wait by your computer for a solution, otherwise, your exam will be considered abandoned.
