Summer Accelerator is in Session

The summer accelerator program is underway, and we’ve been through 32 sessions on topics such as pricing, cost structures, corporate formation, team building and prototyping. Each team pitched their startup to mentors from the local ecosystem, and are now working closely with relevant individuals for their company. We’ve held office hours with attorneys, financial advisors, investors and market research experts. The teams continue to meet with customers and develop relationships with people that can help them. We’ve also had some fun with weekly socials and founders dinners.

Towbee is a mobile application that helps customers request roadside assistance anywhere, anytime. Victory Crate empowers independent game developers to bring their ideas to market. Datafuel provides customized online training for data visualization and analytics software such as Spotfire. Guestographer is a service that captures the moments you miss at important events.

Alumni Update

RED Labs Class 2 team, Luminostics, recently was selected as one of the 10 most promising life sciences companies at the 2015 Texas Life Sciences Forum. They were also a semi-finalist in the 2015 Texas New Ventures Competition at Texas A&M University. Read more news about Luminostics.
