Network Manager
Plans, Organizes, Directs, Controls (fire fighting), Staffs
A good Network manager has time to plan and avoids excess firefighting by managing the anticipated.
A bad network manager is proud of being a fire fighter
assumes complete responsibility and quietly takes care of emerging problems.
A bad Network Manager spends most of his/her time blaming others. Problems in the network are somebody else's fault (understaffing, turnover, faulty products, clumsy users etc..)
A good Network Manager does not chase fads.
A bad Network Manager constantly changes his plans because of hot new products.
PROACT with the situation!
