—Alan Levy

—Richard Wagner
“If European cities were a necklace, Prague would be a diamond among the pearls.”
—Anonymous
The trip is for undergraduate students only. This trip is designed to allow students to experience the culture of the Czech Republic as well as learn about doing business in Eastern Europe. Students may take both courses for up to 6 credit hours. Both courses are on-line courses. The study abroad trip and an orientation session are mandatory course requirements.
What students have said about previous trips:
“This trip is a must for any student interested in global business, it was the best educational experience I've ever had in terms of broadening students' perspective business, culture, and communication. I have spent my career working for two large multi-national corporations and have traveled to Europe and Asia many times for work, and was just amazed by the experience. The educational, cultural, and perspective-broadening opportunities on the trip were outstanding, even for experienced travelers. Visiting many different businesses across disparate industries as well as gaining perspective from an economist, EU officials, and local interactions provided for an engaging learning and broadening unmatched by any other scholastic or work experience I've had. Again, I would recommend this study abroad program as a must for every Bauer student.”
Josh Green, MBA student.“The study abroad in Prague in not just another MBA class but a life perspective changing experience.”
Marcela James, MBA student.“The trip to Prague was great! Prague was very charming and the Czech people were welcoming. The lectures and the field trips combined with the tours of the city make it a truly unique experience for any student. Go! You’ll be glad you did!”
Ann Cowper, MBA student.“I thought this trip was a blast. I got to experience an entirely new culture and I embraced every bit of it. This type of trip really opens up your eyes, sort of like a revitalization. You start to realize just how free you are and how much you don't know about the world. I would definitely recommend future students to take advantage of this unique opportunity.”
William B. Van Pelt, IV, MBA student.“This was a great way to experience doing business in a very different economy outside of the theoretical nature of a textbook case study. I highly recommend the program.”
Anthony David, MBA student.“The program is excellent for both the cultural experience and for understanding the business atmosphere in Eastern/Central Europe.” Tony P. To, MBA student.
“I had few expectations of the city of Prague, but left dumbfounded by its beauty and architecture. The visits to the various businesses provided great exposure to Eastern Europe. This trip is a must-go for every MBA.”
Andrew Waititu, MBA student.“Superb experience to cap off my MBA.”
Andrew Olson, MBA student.
