The Stanford Alexander Center for Real Estate offers a solid foundation in real estate fundamentals and a focus on mastering the professional practice of real estate. Courses are taught by practicing professionals who are experts and leaders in the industry.

Graduate Certificate in Real Estate

Available to students in these programs:

Required courses:*

  • FINA 7380 – Real Estate Finance & Investment (3 credit hours)
  • FINA 7382 – Developing a Real Estate Project (3 credit hours)
  • FINA 7381 – Essentials of Real Estate (3 credit hours)
  • FINA 7383 – Real Estate Market Analysis & Valuation (3 credit hours)

*For students outside of MBA & MS Finance Programs: FINA 7A10 (1.5 CH) & 6A35 (1.5 CH) are prerequisites for FINA 7380, resulting in 15 CH total, though some courses may be substituted. Contact the Stanford Alexander Center for Real Estate office for details.
