MANA 6383 – Strategic Management
Strategic Management is a capstone course
for students in the MBA program. It is intended to integrate material
from other courses in the MBA program; particularly finance, marketing,
management, and MIS. The perspective is the organization as seen by general
managers, particularly the top management team. In some cases the unit
of analysis may be a division or an organizational unit, but in most
cases the object of study is the entire organization. Strategic Management
is concerned with the determination of the objectives of the organization
and the policies and procedures that are necessary for the organization
to attain its objectives.
