Form to Officially Request a Switch from the Regular BBA to the Online BBA    Explanation of the Switch It is important to understand the implications of switching to the Online BBA before you change programs. Students in the Online BBA can major or double major in the following business majors: Accounting Entrepreneurship Finance (4000-level Finance electives are limited) Management – with the option to select a track: Human Resource Management Track Management and Leadership Track Marketing MIS (MIS major courses are limited) Supply Chain Management (SCM major courses are limited and may not be offered until Spring 2023) Specialty track and certificate programs not listed above are not available for UH Extend. Students in the Online BBA can minor in the following business areas: Accounting Entrepreneurship Finance Human Resource Management Management & Leadership Marketing MIS SCM Student could not pursue a non-business dual degree or minor. Students would only be eligible for online classes and could not take any classes face-to-face, which may also limit the electives that are available. Students would not have access to any student services on campus funded by the University fee or Student Services fee or to in-person college services and events (and international students would also not qualify for a student visa, CPT, or OPT). Students in the Online BBA may qualify for need-based financial aid, both federal and institutional, if they meet specified criteria, but may not qualify for certain UH and Bauer College scholarships. UH Extend students are not eligible for centrally awarded merit-based scholarships, such as Tier One or Academic Excellence Scholarships. UH Extend students' eligibility for Bauer College scholarships is determined by donor and college criteria. (Note: The Bauer Excellence Scholarship and the Ted Bauer Undergraduate Business Scholarship are not open to students in the Online BBA.) For questions about specific scholarships, consult with the Online BBA Academic Advisor. Students in UH Extend are not eligible for the Fixed Rate tuition plan. Students should consult the Online BBA Advisor prior to make a final decision to switch (your current Academic Advisor for the regular BBA will not be able to assist with questions about the Online BBA).
