Phil Morabito, president of Pierpont Communications, Inc., has a BS and an MBA in marketing. Phil is an adjunct professor and teaches public relations campaigns and principles of public relations in the School of Journalism, and integrated marketing communications in the Graduate School of Business. He has more than 18 years of experience in public relations and marketing, including more than 13 years as an entrepreneur in the Houston marketplace. Phil learned the public relations business at the Madison Avenue firm of Robert Marston & Associates in New York City, where as senior account supervisor, he handled accounts for major corporations such as Spalding Sports Worldwide, Pillsbury, Levi Strauss, Dean Witter, Cella Wines, Control Data Corporation, The Marriott Corporation and 1-800-Flowers. He is a member of the American Marketing Association, the Public Relations Society of America, the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), the Silver Fox Advisers and co-founder of the Entrepreneurial Strategic Interest Group (ESIG).
