FSA WEB LINKS

Good First Stop Sites
These sites will give you accounting and finance industry information, company profiles, current stock quotes, stock price charts, current and historical price multiples, some analysis of fundamentals, current news reports, and some analyst forecasts. Some of them will also link you to sites with further information. Some information requires membership, but the is much free information on these sites. Choose one and make it you primary first stop resource.

Historical Indices and Returns
These sites give the histories for a number of price and return indices for stocks and bonds, including indices for non-US stocks.

Link to Research & Indices page. You will be able to chart a number of indices and P/E, P/B P/S multiples and accounting ratios for the indices.

SEC Filings and Annual Reports
These sites link you to financial reports of SEC registrants. The first three links are to the Securities and Exchange Commission's electronic data base of financial report filings (EDGAR). The first link takes you directly to the SEC's site, the next two allow you to download and format financial reports for analysis. Report Gallery and PRARS tells you how to get the annual reports the firms send to their shareholders. Financial reports can also be obtained from most firms' web sites.

Financial Web Browsers and Guides to Internet Resources
These web sites contain engines to browse the web for particular information and provide links to a variety of financial information.

Research Tools: Industry Research, Screening Engines, Ranking Engines, Charting Engines, Earnings Surprise Analysis, and Company Comparison Tools

Screening Engines: Screening engines identify stocks that satisfy criteria that you specify. Screen stocks on P/E ratios, P/B ratios, earnings growth, and many fundamental attributes.

Ranking Engines: Ranking engines rank stock on designated criteria
Charting Engines: Chart stock prices for individual stocks
Research by Industry: To get information for research by industry
Earnings Surprise Reports: These sites give earnings surprises on a daily basis

Insider Trading Reports
Get details on the trading activities of corporate insiders
