Sonja Prokopec is a doctoral student in Marketing at the University of Houston. Her main area of interest is consumer behavior. Her current research investigates the dark side of consumer behavior, and self-regulatory behaviors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Marketing) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA-Finance) from the University of Central Florida. In addition to her academic preparation, Sonja was twice Student-Athlete All American (tennis), and served as assistant tennis coach for two years.
