Professor
Singer joined the UH faculty in 1982. He has also taught
at New York University, and at the University of Michigan.
Professor Singer is currently managing director of the Cougar Investment Fund.
His teaching
areas are Corporate Finance and Bond Indentures. Among
his research interests are the Study of High-Yield Bonds,
Corporate Finance and Bond Valuation. Professor Singer
contributed to chapters to the books Crisis in the Economic & Financial
Structure (1982) and Advances in Small Firm Finance (1991).Articles
in Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics,
Financial Management, the Review of Economics and Statistics,
the Financial Analysts Journal, the Journal of Financial
Research, the Journal of Business, the California Management
Review and the International Journal of Finance.
