Susana Rosas joined the University of Houston in 2009 and currently teaches Bauer College of Business' only corporate social responsibility course, Social Enterprise. This course addresses social venture sales efforts in developing countries, focusing its reach on the base of the pyramid. Serving as professor, she leads a group of students in creating a comprehensive sales plan, of which the goal is to fit into the overall business plan of a non-governmental organization (NGO) in an emerging country. In 2012, she took Program for Excellence in Selling students on the first undergraduate international trip to Peru, South America where they conducted market research, built a network of contacts and began implementing the sales plan they created. She continues to guide student groups in both their efforts in the classroom and international travel.

Prior to serving in this role, Rosas served as the Director of Corporate Relations for the Sales Excellence Institute (SEI) at the Bauer College of Business. Susana directed SEI's comprehensive corporate sponsorships program, managed advancement activities such as endowments, alumni relations, grants, community relations and scholarships. She also co-taught in the Key Account Selling course, which focuses on teaching students how to sell to top-level executives. Additionally, she assisted in prospecting and procuring clients for the sales executive education program, led the marketing and external communications for the Institute and assisted in student career placement and coaching.

Prior to joining Bauer, Susana worked in the non-profit sector as a professional fundraiser for the University of Houston and the American Cancer Society. She provided leadership and managed comprehensive development plans including the annual fund drive, donor, corporate and foundation relations with emphasis on major gift efforts.

During her tenure of the University of Houston, she also served as the Director for the Program for Excellence in Selling where she increased partnerships by 150% and led a student sales team in the National Collegiate Sales Competition becoming national champions for the first time in the University's history.

She then transitioned into a new career in commercial real estate as an industrial broker for CB Richard Ellis. There she specialized in providing corporate and professional clients with brokerage, consulting and strategic planning services. She successfully transacted more than 1.5 million square feet with a total value of over $900 million. She was a the first bilingual and first female industrial broker in Houston.

Rosas is strong advocate for volunteerism serving with various organizations such as Dress for Success, Crossroads, UNICEF, Girls Scouts and Coalition for the Homeless. She also serves as missionary in Latin America.

A native of Houston, Texas, Rosas graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in marketing then received her Executive Masters of Business Administration in 2011 and was recognized as a Distinguished PES Alumnus at the Bauer College of Business.
